Music Together is an early childhood music and movement program for young children and the grown-ups who love them!
6 – 12 children aged 0 to preschool and their grown-ups meet once a week for a 45-minute-session to experience the fun of making Music Together in an informal atmosphere.
We offer three 10-week semesters each year in Westend and in Sachsenhausen.
Young children learn best from the powerful role models in their lives and that's where the grownups come in! Parents don't need to have music skills, they just need a desire to play and have fun with their children! Our family music classes show parents and caregivers how to help their children become confident music-makers just by having fun making music themselves.
The Music Together curriculum is research-based and developed by experts in music education and child development and because we know that children learn through play, we make everything we do in class engaging and fun.

The 10 week autumn semester will begin on September 10, 2024.
In autumn we will offer regular Mainhattan Music Together in-person-classes.
Families who register for the autumn semester will meet in the classroom for a 45 minute class each week.
If the teacher is sick and we do not have a substitute, the in-person-class will be postponed to the end of the semester. If we are not able to reschedule the class you will get a partial refund (11 € per week).
We will teach in the classroom as long as we are allowed to do so. If the government will change the rules and we are not allowed to teach in-person anymore we will switch to online classes. Then you will have a 30-minute online live class at your regular classtime and an additional video (about 15 minutes) per week.
FYI: our classes are extra curricular education, we have to follow the rules that are valid for schools.
Music Together Online is STILL Music Together. Whether we are teaching in person or teaching through Online events, we are providing rich musical experiences to teach families how to make music together! In all ways we teach we make sure to expose families to all the songs in the current Collection, multiple times, ensuring there is a balance of tonalities, meters and songs without words. And – as always- we provide families a deep variety of activities that support music development through multimodel learning. And of course we will have lots of fun!
